PLAMOSTOP P9 is a special single-component fire-resistant coating designed to protect load-bearing steel and reinforced concrete structures. When exposed to high temperatures, it forms a heat-insulating layer that slows the heating of the structure and helps maintain its load-bearing capacity for the required fire resistance duration. 

It is part of certified systems and is used on steel columns, beams, truss structures, and reinforced concrete elements in office, industrial, commercial, and public buildings.

The thickness of the PLAMOSTOP P9 coating is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the type of structure, the required fire resistance, and the cross-sectional factor of the steel member. Application may only be performed by a trained contractor with a valid certificate and in accordance with the approved application procedure.
