Protecting Structures Against Moisture and Harsh Environments
Coating Systems
System Benefits
- Resistance to Harsh Environments — The epoxy system is designed for areas exposed to moisture, ammonia, manure, and other chemically aggressive substances.
- Long-term protection of steel structures — it forms a compact protective layer that slows the onset of corrosion even under demanding operating conditions.
- High chemical and mechanical resistance — the coating resists common disinfectants, mechanical wear, and daily operation.
- Ideal for agricultural facilities — suitable for stables, cow barns, pig barns, poultry houses, storage halls, and other facilities with high humidity and aggressive atmospheres.
What to Watch Out For
- A two-component system requires precise mixing—the specified ratio of paint to hardener must be followed before application.
- Proper surface preparation extends the service life—a properly sandblasted and degreased surface is the foundation for long-term protection.
- Follow the application instructions — during both application and curing, the coating must be protected from adverse weather conditions.

Resistance to Harsh Environments
The epoxy system is suitable for facilities where conventional coatings cannot withstand prolonged exposure to moisture, ammonia, or organic substances.
Long-lasting corrosion protection
This highly durable coating system protects steel structures from corrosion and helps extend their service life, even in demanding agricultural settings.
Designed for agriculture
The ideal solution for stables, dairy barns, pig barns, poultry houses, silos, and other agricultural facilities where higher standards are required for steel protection.

System Benefits
- Resistance to harsh outdoor conditions — the system protects steel structures from rain, UV radiation, moisture, and the daily wear and tear of agricultural operations.
- Long-term corrosion protection — the combination of an epoxy primer and a polyurethane topcoat creates a highly durable system with a long service life.
- Color-stable, attractive finish — the polyurethane topcoat retains its color and semi-gloss appearance over the long term without rapid degradation.
- Suitable for both new construction and renovations—the ideal solution for steel halls, silos, sheds, process structures, and other agricultural facilities.
What to Watch Out For
- Proper surface preparation is key to durability—we recommend blast cleaning the steel to at least Sa 2½ to achieve maximum protection.
- Follow the correct application conditions—the substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C higher than the dew point, and no moisture condensation may occur during application.
- Precise curing affects the final quality—two-component materials must be mixed in the specified ratio and applied within the recommended time frame.

Designed for agricultural use
This coating system is suitable for structures exposed to dust, moisture, fertilizer fumes, and varying climatic conditions.
Long-term protection without compromise
The combination of the ZG 17 epoxy primer and the PE 73 polyurethane topcoat provides reliable protection against corrosion and extends the service life of steel structures.
A timeless look that lasts for many years
The polyurethane topcoat is resistant to UV radiation and weathering, allowing the structure to retain its attractive appearance even after long-term outdoor use.
